Case Study
Context: A multinational tech corporation specializing in enterprise software and AI-driven analytics. Their Enterprise Strategy & Innovation Division is tasked with leading cross-departmental transformation initiatives. The team brings together executives, data analysts, product leads, and corporate strategists—but despite its collective talent, collaboration in meetings had become strained.
Challenge: The division’s weekly strategy meetings were seen as high-stakes but often unproductive. Senior voices dominated, while mid-level and international team members struggled to contribute, particularly when discussions turned toward culture-driven innovation. Time zone differences and unclear facilitation further hampered engagement.
A recent employee engagement survey reveals that only 42% of the team felt their input was valued in group settings. Several members also raised concerns about psychological safety and the lack of structured opportunities to challenge ideas or propose alternatives.
Solution: A workshop was created. The slide deck and accompanying workbook served as the core instructional tools for delivery.
Result: After 6 weeks, the team adopted and shared a facilitation model with pre-distributed agendas and rotating roles. 87% of the team members reported improved confidence in contributing to meetings. Meeting feedback forms were implemented, with follow-ups by team leads. Senior leaders noted an increase in idea diversity and engagement in innovation planning.
